Gary Clark’s Emotional Interview After Senior Day Will Have You Crying
This is it. Gary Clark won’t be playing games anymore at Cincinnati in a Bearcat uniform.
Be right back, crying at the moment.
Clark had 17 points including 15 points in the Bearcats 82-74 victory over Tulsa on Senior Day on Sunday. He was in foul trouble for the first half and had to sit for the remaining of it. His team was down by three at the break, and when he came back, he went full on beast mode to uplift his teammates.
After the game, Gary sat down with Dan Hoard and Terry Nelson to discuss the game and Senior Day. He got choked up towards the end as he was talking about the many sacrifices his Mom and Dad made for him to get to this point.
I lost it, finally hit him that this is it. This guy deserves a deep run in March, nah, he deserves a championship. To think that next year there won’t be Gary Clark on the team and in the starting lineup is a depressing feeling.
The season is not over. There is still work left to do, and I hope I’ll be watching this great human being play another 12 games for the next month.
