Gary Clark’s Jersey Needs To Be Hung Up Inside 5/3 Arena

Senior big Gary Clark’s number 11 jersey needs to be retired up in the rafters of newly renovated 5/3 Arena.

Clark deserves it because of his play but of how great of a human being he is.

Our guy Dan makes a valid reason why this Bearcat great should have his jersey retired and I’m with him 100 percent.

If you don’t any feeling or emotion while watching that video then I don’t know what’s wrong with you. Gary loves that fan and he made that fan’s day/life while going to the game and watch her favorite player dominate. It was such a special moment for the both of them. Man, the feels.

Clark doesn’t have the huge numbers to get his jersey retired but I believe that should not matter. In his four years as a Bearcat he just represented this program with the ultimate class, play hard every game, a quiet leader but when he’s on it’s a wrap for the opponent. One of the best rebounders in school history and his defensive game is flawless.

He’s known as the “The Problem” because he is on the court for the opponent because he can beat you in so many ways. Outside the court, Clark is just chill and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He will stop whatever he is doing a take picture or autograph because he’s that type of person that cares for others. His parents raised him so well and he’s going to go far not only in basketball but with his great character that can impact our society.

We need AD Mike Bohn to get on board and get this man’s jersey up in 5/3 because it needs to happen! It makes sense. Now when this happens, you’ll know Steve Logan and Sean Kilpatrick will be very upset. Oh well, deal with it.

Senior day is going to be emotional because I can’t get over the fact that Gary Clark is a senior and this is it for him as a Bearcat. He deserves a long NCAA tournament run and he’ll get that.

#11, legendary, up in the rafters! Make it happen!
